Ride On The Shinkansen

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! こんにちわ!It's my first post and I wanted to share with all of you what it feels when riding on one of the fastest bullet trains in Japan or "Shinkansen" by posting a movie about it. I've read about the Shinkansen before leaving Brunei on a magazine called NIPPONIA given by one of my school teachers. I've also found the webpage about the Shinkansen that we used and the address is: http://web-japan.org/nipponia/nipponia43/en/feature/feature13.html.
That's all for now and I also want to thank all the chaperons and also the JICE coordinators who took care of all of us during our trip to Japan. Also, to all the people who are involved from the beginning. So, ありがとうございます!!

BTW, Do you all noticed that the Tokyo Tower celebrated its 50th anniversary in the same year as the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque? A coincidence perhaps?

myra @ faryy was here~

hello people! (: okay, i wanna becakap pasal jenesys ni as in my appreciation to those who involved in this programme.

i'm very lucky that my teacher nominated me for the opportunity. terima kasih kerana telah mempercayai saya & memberi peluang keemasan ini. i know that inda semua orang yang dapat memperolehi peluang melawat sambil belajar ke Jepun ni.

i've stated during my interview last time yang...

  • my interest in Japan through the Japanese Club & the Karate Club makes me like to learn more, to experience life in Japan with Japanese family in a Japanese home.
  • my interest in economics & geography where it would be really good to see Japan's highly developed systems, infrastructure & commercial areas as well as the beautiful scenery & countryside such as mountains, volcanoes & temples.
  • i want to share my experiences in Japan when i come back to Brunei.
  • i want to share my life in Brunei with a Japanese family.

and banyak lagi lah. when i reached home (back from Japan), the above statements tu faryy rasa faryy kecapi sudah. i stayed with my host family; i learned about their culture even their language. as we know that, durang pun ada bahasa tersendiri. macam, if hokkaido bahasanya lain then if di tokyo, lain jua. for example 'namara' is usually Hokkaido's language).

faryy pun sudah mleat bangunan2 di sana tu which have big differences from ours. durang banyak buildings yg sky scrappers. the road lagi macam roller coaster punya track. (:

banyak pengalaman yg telah faryy alami sepanjang programme ane. faryy dapat membiasakan hidup sendiri, berdikari & jauh dari keluarga di Brunei. faryy dapat jua melatih diri be puntual. and banyak lagi lah. i think i benefit-ed from the experiences. it gave me better understanding of another culture & simultaneously helped me appreciate my own culture & family more.

honestly, i miss our coordinators; Hokkaido group's Okasan & Onesan. ): do me a favor? please come to Brunei & have our reunion together here. it would be fun! (: (:

okay, i'm out of words now. i'm not really sure apa yg faryy type in di atas tu because i just miss all the memories that we spent together in Japan with JICE people. MISS MUCH!! we had our breakfast together, we had our lunch together, we had dinner together & i remember during our last farewell dinner party, Okasan danced with the guys (menari tarian tradisional kitani tapi inda plg batah, skajap saja). (: (:

uhhhh~ i miss all that~ i miss Japan crying out loud! ): ): ): ):

okayy, still to come~
